6 in 1 Blackjack: Top Tips & Strategies

This is one of the newer varieties of blackjack ‘on the market’. It is actually a variation of American Blackjack. If you know how to play that, then you should feel right at home with 6 in 1 blackjack. The only real difference is that you will be able to place six side bets when you play. Yes, this does swing the odds of winning ever so slightly back towards the online casino (you can’t really blame them, with normal blackjack the house edge is 0.5%), but if you do win, the winnings you can walk away with are so much higher.

How To Play 6in1 Blackjack

We are not going to focus too much on how you can play blackjack. There are far too many guides online about that. Instead, we want to focus on the six side bets that you can place. Do note that you do not even need to place a side bet. If you do, then you do not need to bet on all of them:

• Perfect pairs: there is a payment paid on the first two of the customer’s cards if they are a perfect pair. They can be the same colour or the same cards. The payback is about 93.89%.
• 21+3: for this, you will need to know about three-card poker. You will get a payout based upon the face-up card of the dealer and the two of the first player’s cards.
• Lucky Ladies: one or two queens or twenty-one on two of the first cards the customer is dealt will give a payout. Payback is 93.78%.
• Lucky: 19, 20, or 21 based upon the first two of the gamblers cards and the first face-up card of the dealer.
• Suit’em up: same suit cards for the player are paid out on (first 2 cards only)
• Buster blackjack: any dealer excess is paid out.

Using Your Side Bet in 6 in 1 Blackjack

As you may know, casinos really do not like to lose out. In fact, they loathe it. This meant that they hated blackjack. This is a site which has a traditionally low house edge. This meant that they needed to come up with a way in which to swing the odds in their favour, while at the same time ensuring that their regular players did not find the game too unfair.

Enter the side bet (this is going to be very important when it comes to 6 in 1 blackjack). There are various types of side bet out there. If you head to a casino trade show, then you will find that there are actually companies trying to sell their idea of a side bet to casinos (they love it). We just want to focus on the 6 in 1 side bet here. 

The wonderful thing about 6 in 1 blackjack is that despite all the side-bets, the payout rate is still quite high. This means that you should win the game more than you lose.

Honestly, when it comes to betting strategy, we tend to go for all of the side bets because the chances are high that you will win if you do that. Yes, there will be some times where you bust out, but these times should (hopefully) be few and far between. Even if you do not win with the main game of blackjack, there is still a chance that you could walk away with one of the side bets which means that you can gain a decent amount of cash, which is awesome!

If you only want to place a bet on one or two of the side bets, then the ones that you are going to likely get the luckiest on will be your perfect pairs or your suit’em up. They offer a decent payout too. When we first started to play 6-in-1 blackjack, then this was about our limit, but now we dive headfirst into all of them. In most play sessions, we tend to come out ‘in front’ too, which is going to be fantastic if you want an enjoyable, yet profitable, play session.
